Privacy policy

What I keep

• Customers: your name, business name and email address; your trade, council areas and home types; and a record of your subscription and payments (amounts, dates and Stripe's reference for you).
• Sample requests: the email address, business name, trade and areas you entered, and the internet address the request came from, which is used only to stop the form being abused.
• Emails you send me.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by me.

How it is used

To prepare and email your lists or your sample, to bill you, and to answer your questions. If you ask for a sample I may follow up by email once or twice about it. I don't sell or rent this information, and I don't add you to anyone else's mailing list.

Who else handles it

Stripe processes payments, my email provider carries the emails, and my web host runs the server this site and the lists are prepared on. Each handles the information under its own privacy policy. This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies; it loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your internet address like any web request.

What is in the lists

The lists describe properties: the address, suburb, home type, council and the date a home was finished. They do not include the names, phone numbers or email addresses of owners or residents.

How long it is kept

Customer details are kept while you receive the list and for a short time after, so a returning customer doesn't get homes they already had. Payment records are kept for five years, as Australian tax law requires. Sample requests are deleted after 12 months.
